TYPICAL DAY OF A PARTNER

A typical weekend food festival in your local market town could mean two long days with an early start driving with a van full of equipment and goodies.  

We recommend you arriving early to make sure you have a great central selling pitch and this gives you time to set up your counter and to pile your Chock Shop Brownies and Blondies on display , decorating them with fresh fruit and dusting them with icing sugar. Usually food festivals open at 10am but we recommend you have completed this process by 9-9:15. 
Trade then usually picks up by 11am and then its usually non stop until close at about 5:30-6. 

Depending on the event it has been known to carry on into the evening and this is usually supplemented by live music or other entertainment. At most two day events you pack your tables down and then store everything under the counter which makes things so much easier for day 2 set up. 

A typical small food festival over 2 days should bring in between £2000- £3000 worth of sales with the rent being anything from £150-£350. With excellent margins this really does mean a really good profit for just 2 days work. 

 At the end of day 2 its clear down and pack the van up which just leaves a small amount of washing up on the Monday, cash up and banking and then prepare for your next event.

We offer Two Day initial training at Chock Shop HQ. At first day of training one of the senior management team will be with you to support you.

FAQs

Can I do this part time?

Yes you absolutely can , however once you become established you will realise that you can earn more with just Chock Shop full time. 

What vehicle do I need ?

A pick up truck or a small van to start moving onto a regular wheel base Ford transit. 

What storage do I need?

Most of our partners use a clean and dry area of their garage or shed , some use a storage facility in their local town. 

Can I do more than one event at a time ?

Most of our partners within a short while move from one to two every week, and after year one this extends again and some have been known to trade at six or seven at the same time. 

Can I trade in other counties?

As long as that county has not been sold then yes, but you just need to check with HQ before booking. 

How much can I earn?

In year one doing decent events £40-50k this can move up to £60-80k and then as high as you want it to be with multiple events. 

How long is the contract for ?

Initially 5 years , but this is automatically renewed at a nominal legal cost if you are trading successfully.

Can I own more than one county ?

Yes you can, however all we ask is trade for a minimum of twelve months , show us what you can do then you can buy a second area.
